SCRAP NYC serves all five New York City boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Pickup availability may vary by location and scheduling capacity. Enter your address in our Circularity portal to check available pickup options.
SCRAP NYC accepts new and used clothing for women, men, children, and babies, along with accessories and household textiles such as bedsheets, towels, and curtains.
Whether your items are ready for reuse or suitable for textile recycling, your contribution helps keep valuable materials in circulation.
We accept most clean, new, and used clothing, including items that may no longer be suitable for wearing but can be recycled.
We cannot accept clothing or textiles that are moldy, heavily stained, or excessively damaged. Please ensure all items are clean and dry before pickup.
As demand for textile collection has grown, we've introduced a $35 residential pickup fee to support a more reliable and sustainable service.
The fee helps cover transportation, scheduling, material sorting, and processing while allowing SCRAP NYC to expand service availability across New York City.
Our mission remains the same: keeping textiles out of landfills and extending the life of usable materials through reuse and recycling.
How does it work?

Sort your clothes for donation and pack them neatly into bags. Separate the deeply loved, and the lightly worn.

Schedule a date and time for your pickup appointment or find a convenient drop-off location.

On pickup day, place your items outside the door, or wait for a knock.
